Dexter Revival: John Lithgow to Return as Trinity Killer — However How?
Dexter is resurrecting its most iconic villain for its forthcoming second act at Showtime.
Deadline reviews that John Lithgow — who gained an Emmy for portraying Season 4’s Huge Dangerous Trinity Killer (AKA Arthur Mitchell) — is about to shoot a cameo within the 10-episode revival. It’s not clear how the character will resurface contemplating he was brutally murdered by Dex through framing hammer within the Season 4 finale.
A Showtime rep declined to remark.
As beforehand reported, the quasi ninth season — which can premiere this fall — picks up practically a decade after the extensively panned 2013 finale, with Dexter now residing within the fictional Upstate New York small city of Iron Lake.
